On the 17th of February 2004, the Business Platform FUGATO (IVF) was established and registered as a membership corporation in the Register of Associations in Bonn. According the statutes, the task of the IVF essentially is to represent the industry’s interests within the support measure FUGATO of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). This goes especially for the continuation of the measure as well as for the research’s technical alignment to innovation with the potential of new added value for the industry.
The IVF joins the meetings of the Scientific Advisory Board as a guest member.


The industry network sees itself as a driving force for the introduction of new developments and for the naming of main scientific topics.

To this end, the IVF provides the platform for exchange and cooperation to industry and science.

Further important IVF tasks are the information service for members and the public relations for FUGATO.

In addition, the IVF will offer the services of a patent and license agency to its members.
